Managed Luck practical methods and insights in a world of uncertainty |
|
|
Welcome Managed Luck is a growing collection of articles about uncertainty in our lives – at work, at play, at home, anywhere. It is written for thoughtful people with an interest in management skills, personal effectiveness, or management systems. The articles range from personal reflections on mental outlook and willpower to explanations of 'risk management' as it is currently being promoted for organizations. I believe that developing an attitude of open mindedness about the future and developing the skills to deal with it are important. Please use this button to let me know if you want to be notified by email of new articles added to this website. A recent addition is an article called "The Lucky Choices Theory of Ability" that looks at how our abilities are affected, not just by our DNA, education, and practice, but also by choices we make before we know how to make those choices well. |
